โ€˜What if I wrote a book by organizing the questions my students are curious about? It could be helpful for those studying Korean.โ€™

This book was inspired by that idea.

Of course, when learning a language, the most important thing is not just theory but also learning and internalizing language expressions that are used. I won’t focus on teaching Korean vocabulary or grammar in this book. However, it’s not good enough to simply memorize words or learn expressions. Even if you diligently memorize words, you may not know how to use them in the right context. Even if someone has learned all the grammar rules in Korean, they may still feel frustrated when they are not able to fully comprehend what Korean people are saying on TV shows or in real-life conversations.

Therefore, if you are someone studying Korean, you have come to the right place. Through this book, you can save your precious time and effort.

You don’t need to pursue a doctoral degree in the Korean language as a major at university just because you want to be fluent in Korean. It is enough to reach a level where you can have conversations with Korean friends without feeling burdened or watch Korean dramas and movies without subtitles.

Therefore, you can set a goal of “listening to Korean without difficulty and expressing my thoughts easily and comfortably.” This book will assist you in achieving that goal.

I focused on selecting and answering the most common questions that students are curious about in this book. Of course, the content contained in this book may not satisfy 100% of your questions. However, I am confident that it can deal with at least 70-80% of them.

I didn’t specifically target Korean language majors or scholars. Instead, I directed my focus toward students who want to use Korean in real-life situations. As a result, the content is designed to be easily understandable for non-linguists and the general public.

Furthermore, I will not cover explanations of vocabulary or grammar in this book. This is because it is not intended to be a textbook. (FYI, I plan to create a vocabulary book in the future that focuses on frequently used words in real-life situations.)

I am confident that students who are diligently studying Korean can find strategies that suit their individual study methods through this book. I hope that this book will provide readers with the information they wanted to know and offer some help, despite its smallness, in their Korean language learning journey.

I got to know him through my friend who lives in New York. My friend recommended me to read a book before class. It was so well organized that I gained confidence even before I took the class.
His book is not boring, very trendy, and contains things that you really need to know without unnecessary content, and it is easy to memorize Korean.
Lastly what the people in class know is that he is polite, cool, well-educated, and has a high level of intelligence, so he can explain every question well. Highly recommend this book to everyone who really wants to speak Korean well!

It’s a good start here. I loved it.
It’s not just blah. it’s about learning all the “book stuff” that you never need in real life.
    Good luck!
